Nicholas J. Cianciotti, P.E., CEM

Mr. Cianciotti has over 15 years of experience in mechanical engineering and plumbing design. His extensive work in the mechanical and industrial engineering industries include a strong background in AutoCAD, Revit, DOE EQUEST, Hourly Analysis & HVAC System selection programs and more.

He began his construction experience in Brooklyn, NY as a plumbing mechanic for Steve Belsito & Sons Inc. performing boiler, hot water heater, gas domestic water piping, and fire sprinkler system installations.

While working as a mechanic, Nick graduated from the New York Institute of Technology as a Mechanical Engineer with an accelerated Aerospace Concentration degree. Mr. Cianciotti has since worked under several influential Architectural and Engineering design firms, developing schematic designs for mechanical, power plant, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire suppression systems. Also, formerly a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Northrop Grumman, Nick has designed upgrades for 2,500psi liquid / gaseous oxygen, silane, hydrogen, water, and air test systems based on ASME, and CGA standards. While at Northrop Grumman, he has also performed hazard analysis on various high-pressure fluid piping systems to develop plans for facility capital projects and maintenance.

Nick’s current background covers all phases of design engineering and management. His duties normally include engineering presentations, investigations, planning, conceptual project systems design, incorporation of LEED green building strategies and overall quality assurance through implementation of the Firm’s Quality Assurance Program. He also prepares engineering reports and studies consisting of technical and economic analyses, cost effective selection of alternatives, including an energy conservation approaches, and security/IT operations. He assures constructability of the Firm’s design solutions and oversees the Firm’s Construction Management projects.
